Only one week to go!

So our Grand Opening is in exactely one week (Nov 5); and as I am blogging this our Riders are actually winning the game, a great way to finish the season!  Since I was in the marketplace last we have a few new farmers and artisans to boast - Harden and Huyse Chococates and Two Sisters Stepping Stones and Glasswork.  Both are awesome and I am so excited they are partnering with us.  If you happen to be joining us for the Grand Opening, your tastebuds are going to be tickeled and delighted with a wide a assortment of deliciously local morsels (including samples of gourmet Harden and Huyse Chocolates)!  I know you are not going to want to miss it.  We are also itching to launch a new facebook promotion - only 20 more likes until we can pull the triggor.  Have you "liked" us yet?
That's all for today! Have a fabulous weekend.

Welcome to the Marketplace!

Hello fellow foodies, friends and local enthusiasts!
Thanks for choosing to check out our blog.  This is basically the start of what I hope is a funny and insightful blog that all who are into the local food movement will check out now and again.
For those of you who are new followers, the SaskMade Marketplace is under new ownership.  We offer a huge variety of food products, unique art and gifts, bath and body products as well as full line of gift baskets, all grown, made or processed right here in Saskatchewan.  There is really something here for everyone, and I'm convinced you will be pleasantly surprised by what you find in our store.

Join us as we journey through our first year in business, meet new people and create a sustainable local food circle!

Cheers,
April Nichol
